Teachers Lift and Carry Moments | Part-2

Teacher Lift and Carry Moments

Guys, this is the Part-2 of the story. For better and proper understanding kindly read Part-1 of this story.

As the rain continued to drizzle outside, the gym doors creaked open. Ms. Nair stepped in carefully, adjusting her shawl as she made her way across the slippery floor. She smiled warmly when she spotted Ms. Sharma and Riya chatting.

But just as she was about to greet them, her foot slipped on the wet tile.

“Oh!” Ms. Nair gasped, her arms flailing slightly.

Before she could hit the ground, Riya reacted instantly. She dashed forward and caught Ms. Nair mid-fall, effortlessly lifting her in a cradle carry to steady her.

“Whoa! Got you, ma’am!” Riya said, holding her securely.

Ms. Nair blinked, looking up at Riya in surprise. “Riya, dear… you didn’t have to lift me!” She chuckled softly but didn’t seem in a hurry to be put down.

Ms. Sharma burst into laughter, covering her mouth. “Well, look at that! Riya’s at it again. Ms. Nair, how’s the view from up there?”

Riya grinned, adjusting her hold slightly. “I couldn’t let you fall, ma’am. Plus, I remember someone saying you carried Ms. Sharma during a relay race. I guess this is payback!”

Ms. Nair shook her head, laughing gently. “Ah, so Ms. Sharma did tell you that story.”

“She did,” Riya replied playfully. “But I think I win this round.”

Ms. Nair smiled fondly. “Alright, alright. I admit defeat. But I must say, Riya… you’re surprisingly strong for a student.”

Ms. Sharma crossed her arms, grinning. “I told you! She’s been carrying half the gym equipment. I think we’ve underestimated her.”

Still holding Ms. Nair, Riya chuckled. “Honestly, ma’am, you’re lighter than I thought. I could probably carry you across the whole gym if I had to.”

“Oh no, don’t you dare,” Ms. Nair laughed softly, patting Riya’s arm. “I’m perfectly fine now.”

Ms. Sharma teased, “You sure, Ms. Nair? Maybe Riya should just escort you to your car!”

Riya grinned mischievously. “I wouldn’t mind!”

Ms. Nair laughed along but gently waved her hand. “Thank you, dear, but I think I’ll walk from here. Although I appreciate the save.”

Riya carefully set Ms. Nair down, making sure she was steady.

Ms. Sharma clapped her hands together, smirking. “Riya, I think you just earned yourself the title of ‘Strongest Student in School.’

Riya flexed jokingly. “I accept the honor. But if either of you ever needs a lift again, you know who to call!”

Ms. Nair smiled, adjusting her shawl. “I’ll keep that in mind, Riya. Thank you again.”

The rain continued to drizzle outside, but inside the gym, laughter and lighthearted teasing filled the air.

Ms. Nair said, "I guess I have to wait for some time till the rain stops. Till then we three can chat for some time."

Riya hesitated for a moment, then grinned mischievously.

“Actually… I have a better idea,” Riya said, lifting Ms. Nair just slightly again.

Ms. Nair raised an eyebrow, curious. “Riya, what are you __?”

Before she could finish, Riya playfully turned toward Ms. Sharma.

“Ma’am, catch!” Riya teased, carefully passing Ms. Nair into Ms. Sharma’s arms.

Ms. Sharma’s eyes widened as Riya shifted the weight toward her. “Wait, wait—Riya!” she laughed, quickly adjusting her stance and wrapping her arms around Ms. Nair.

Ms. Nair gasped softly but started laughing. “Oh my goodness… I didn’t expect this today!”

Ms. Sharma chuckled, holding Ms. Nair securely but dramatically pretending to struggle. “Wow, Ms. Nair, you’re light, but Riya made it look way easier.”

Riya folded her arms, grinning. “Told you I was strong! You’re lucky I didn’t carry both of you at once.”

Ms. Nair, still laughing in Ms. Sharma’s arms, shook her head. “I feel like a child being passed around!”

Ms. Sharma playfully adjusted her hold. “Well, Riya started it. I’m just following along. But I think I’ve held you long enough, Ms. Nair.”

Carefully, Ms. Sharma set Ms. Nair back down on her feet. Ms. Nair straightened her shawl, brushing back her hair while smiling fondly at both of them.

“Well, that’s certainly a first,” Ms. Nair said warmly. “Thank you, both of you. I’ll make sure to walk more carefully next time.”

Ms. Sharma smirked at Riya. “You’ve created a trend now. I bet the students will be lining up to carry teachers around.”

Riya laughed. “Hey, if it keeps everyone safe from slipping in the rain, I’m happy to help!”

Ms. Nair shook her head, chuckling softly. “I think I’ll stay grounded for now. But thank you, Riya—you really were quick to react.”

Ms. Sharma crossed her arms, pretending to pout. “Next time, I expect Riya to carry me first. No passing me to anyone else!”

Riya grinned. “Deal, ma’am. I’ll make sure you get the VIP treatment next time.”

The three of them laughed together, the rain outside fading into the background as the playful bond between them grew stronger.
